On August 22nd, 2009 come on downtown to be apart of the Stonetown Music Festival, featuring many local, talented artists. For this event, Water St. between Jones and Queen will be shut down in the morning, and music acts will be presented continuously until 10 pm. There will be tables set up for local businesses, information stands, and suggestions/opinions for anything involving St. Marys and area.

This is a FREE event. We are hoping to find support through the community in favour of building a permanent outdoor concert area with a stage, so that more outdoor music events may take place, and last later on into the evening without disturbing too many people. Also, we're looking to make this an annual event, and to expand to be an entire weekend long with local bands performing as well as possibly some bigger names as well.

Don't be afraid to come on down and make some noise! This is our chance as a town to show off our talent, bring in more tourism, and most importantly rock out hard all day long! 10:45 am is when the party begins!
